Teammates: Building Your Support Network
Virtual Workshop | April 16 | 6:00–7:30 PM PST
This event is for those who have experienced early pregnancy loss or recurrent pregnancy loss journeys
Navigating early pregnancy loss or recurrent loss can feel isolating, especially as support changes over time. Teammates: Building Your Support Network offers a compassionate, reflective space to explore the people, practices, and supports that can help carry you through this season.
Using a gentle sports-team analogy, this virtual workshop invites participants to reflect on who is currently beside them, where support feels steady, and where there may be room to invite new care. Through guided reflection, writing, and optional group conversation, participants will explore ways to strengthen their support network in a way that feels intentional, realistic, and nurturing.
This session is hosted by Alanna Knobben, grief educator, author, and founder of Carry You With Me, whose work focuses on supporting individuals and families through pregnancy and infant loss with compassion, creativity, and connection.
This workshop is offered in partnership with Butterfly Support Network, whose mission is to support individuals and families navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, and infant loss through education, connection, and care.
This workshop content has been adapted from Melissa Dlugolecki’s Teammates Model of Support in Grief. Learn more about Melissa and her work at https://www.speakingofmelissa.com

Butterfly Support Network is collaborating with Emilie Borodine (Vancouver, BC), breathwork and therapeutic art practitioner and founder of the Sowhere Project, to offer a 2-hour guided online breathwork session for individuals navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, or infant loss.
An invitation to pause. To breathe. To return to the body. You’ll be gently guided step-by-step through a breathing practice that supports the body in settling and softening — creating space to let go of what’s been held, and to reconnect with yourself from a deeper place.
