Janet’s statement from Hansard Broadcasting highlights that The Butterfly Support Network provides no-cost counselling, peer support and resources for families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss and infertility. Since 2019, they have supported nearly 10,000 people through community-funded programs like the Butterfly Run, ensuring no one grieves alone.

The Butterfly Run Nanaimo on Oct. 4 at Westwood Lake raises awareness for pregnancy and infant loss. Organizer Erin Sowerby Greene hopes to break the silence around this grief. Funds support the Butterfly Support Network, offering counselling, support groups, and bereavement boxes for parents. All are welcome.
